Of course I am really keen to read ALL the books on the shortlists. Of course I will not be able to get through them all. I will try though! I have already read Jamie Reign: The Last Spirit Warrior and have just finished Song for a Scarlet Runner by Julie Hunt. What a great book! I really enjoyed it. I will post my review in a few days.

Congratulations to all of the finalists, especially PJ Tierney for the shortlisting for her first novel Jamie Reign: The Last Spirit Warrior. I met Paula at a course last year just before her book was released. It was a really exciting time for her! The second book in the series – Jamie Reign: The Hidden Dragon, will be out in May.

What a fantastic selection of books! We have so many talented authors in Australia – lets celebrate them, and read, read read!!!
